After a few months with the Osprey Farpoint 40, I found it works best as a backpack-style replacement for a small duffel. It packs simply, carries comfortably when loaded, and suits long travel days. Once the trip ends, though, it is not a backpack I would reach for.

The Bellroy Lite Travel Pack 30L is light, easy to pack, and simple to stash away once you arrive, but its stripped-back carry system feels underbuilt when loaded. After a few trips, that tradeoff makes it best for travelers who value packability more than loaded comfort.
